Jana has 20+ years of experience working with Christian thought leaders in a variety of roles including publicity, acquisitions and agenting. She started out in 2003 working in publicity at Thomas Nelson Publishers. By 2005, she was the Director of Publicity for the Hachette Book Group, Nashville Division, where she oversaw the orchestration of campaigns for a large number of New York Times bestselling titles. Jana transitioned to Acquisitions Editor in 2010 and in 2014, left Hachette and launched The Burson Agency, which has provided both literary agent services and various consulting services in association with The Christopher Ferebee agency. Jana joined the EPIC team in February 2020. Currently, she oversees our publishing-related work and special projects as a Senior Vice President. Jana’s rolodex is one of a kind and we rely on her next-level ability to connect people.
